In this course, you will use Generative AI tools in practical product management workflows, from discovery and research synthesis to prototyping, prompting, and responsible deployment. You will work with ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Studio, NotebookLM, Google Colab, Microsoft Copilot, and Ollama to explore how AI can support product decisions and common PM tasks. You will practice prompt engineering, synthesize large volumes of user feedback, build lightweight AI-powered applications, and run basic Generative AI Python code in Google Colab. You will also examine Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), implement practical RAG pipelines, and explore local large language models with Ollama. Across the course, you will consider hallucination, bias, and other risks that affect trustworthy AI-powered products. By the end, you will be able to design AI-augmented product management workflows, prototype and validate AI-powered ideas, synthesize research, apply RAG approaches, and evaluate responsible ways to use Generative AI in product work through quizzes, role plays, dialogue, and a final exam.
